Is sex only like it is on T.V.?

There's not much to this question other than what's up there. Anyway... I'm only fifteen years old, people always talk about sex... In school, on T.V. It's EVERYWHERE. But I don't want to ever have sex if it's like that... Can you actually have sex with someone you love, and have it mean something? Is it ever anything more than pleasure? I'm kind of confused on how to ask this question without sounding creepy, because of my age... I just don't feel that sex is any more than that. My question is: CAN it be more than that? More than a sick craving? Can it actually not be a gross obsession?



By the way, just because I asked this, it doesn't mean that I was actually planning on having sex any time soon... At all. Because it seems useless.
Is it unusual that I'm not a horny little teenager?
